Reserving Your Tickets to the Park
Please take the time to read the following information. We want to make your experience easy and enjoyable under the “new” guidelines.

Key details to be aware of for daily admission to the FWNC&R:
• Online purchase of tickets only through ActiveNet
• Open Daily 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., no admission after 4 p.m.
• Once admitted, Visitors may stay until closing (5 p.m.)
• Masks will be required at the entry gate and along trails when not socially distanced
• Weekday naturalist-led outdoor programs will be available (pre-registration required)
What can you do to prepare for your visit?
• Create an account in ActiveNet and make your reservation. If you need assistance, please call (817) 392-7410.
• Print or download a FWNC&R Trail Map to assist with visiting the FWNC&R without contact
• Gather a mask, water, bug spray, sunscreen, snacks, etc.
Instructions for Registering for Admission Tickets

- Click the “Sign In” on the upper right hand corner or Create an Account if you do not have an account.
- If you are a previous program participant or FONC Member, you will already have an account set up in ActiveNet.
- Type in your Password or use the “Forgot your Password” link to gain access to your account. First time users will need to use the “Forgot your Password” link to gain access.
- The first screen that opens when you log in is Account Options. From this menu you can make numerous changes; including
- Manage Family Member(s) by adding member(s) and/or editing personal information
- Edit email and/or password
- Make payment(s) NOTE: This is a great time to upadte your information (address, birthdates) are correct.
- When you are ready to register click the “Home” button on the top menu bar.
- From the home page, click the “Activities” button on the top menu bar.
- In the search bar, type the word “admission” and click search.
- Click on the blue title Admission – Nature Center and select appropriate month for your visit
- This opens up the details and listing of all the sessions (entry hours) available. Click the green Enroll Now button to the right of the description.
- Choose a participant from the drop down menu. This list is compiled from all of the people in your family group. If you do not see your family member(s), Click “Add New Family Member” at the bottom of the scrolled names and follow the instructions to adding family member(s).
- Eight 1-hour sessions will be listed. Choose the hour of entry you would like to enter and click “select dates” for preferred hour. (preferred hour might be unavailable do to booking limitations.
- A calendar opens, click on the date(s) you wish to visit the Refuge. Once selected click “add to cart”.
- Now you are in the Shopping Cart. From this point there are a few options:
- If you have one participant, your next step is to check out. Review the waiver and check the waiver box. Click the green Check Out/Finish button.
- If you need to add another participant/visitor please click the blue Admission Nature Center link. Repeat steps 7-12 (Dogs are paid day of at the gatehouse).
- Next is the payment screen. This is a normal payment process. Enter your credit card information and billing address. Then click the green Pay button.
- Click the “Sign In” on the upper right hand corner or Create an Account if you do not have an account.
