We are glad that you are planning a visit to the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge!!

Our phone number is (817) 392-7410.  Please call us for specific questions.

General information, such as our hours, directions and admission fees, can be found here.

When you visit, be sure to stop by the gatehouse to get daily information and to pay for you admission.  MEMBERS, please stop by to have your daily attendance documented.  Once you have entered our site, you have many options of where to visit, from our Marsh Boardwalk to the Prairie Dog town to Greer Island.   We recommend that you visit the  Hardwicke Interpretive Center where you will find indoor restrooms, exhibits, a gift shop and someone to help you plan your day with recommended hikes and programs.

Please bring plenty of water and dress appropriately.  While there is bottled water for sale in the giftshop, we do not sell concessions.

To make your visit more enjoyable for you and others, please follow our guidelines.  You can  download a trail map that will show you our extensive trail system, roads, picnic areas, visitor center and more.

We hope to see you soon!
