Turtles Up Close

May 20, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm

Turtles have a beak-like mouth with no teeth, but are not birds. They carry their protection on their backs, but they are not snails. They can be found digging in the prairie soils or floating on the West Fork of the Trinity River. Join us and learn about these shelled reptiles and their special adaptations. Live specimens will be on hand to see up close.

$5 (with paid admission)/MEMBERS FREE.
